The U.S. government has decided to "pause and review" its military aid to Ukraine, White House officials told ABC News. Oleksandr Merezhko, a Ukrainian MP and chair of the foreign affairs committee, expressed shock at Trump's decision. "I hoped Trump wouldn’t do this. It’s a move that will definitely face backlash," he told ABC News. He further accused Trump of indirectly aiding Russian President Vladimir Putin in harming Ukrainians.
